Simple, user-friendly and pure style
We deliberately chose a simple and user-friendly structure of our web site that is easy to browse by users.
The style is Nordic - professional and calm - in short pure, but not boring.
It is imperative that our web site can be seen and used by all users irrespective of computer type, operating system, and browser as well as speed of internet connection.
We therefore chose not to use Flash, Shockwave, and similar - that may produce nice visual and sound effects - but, in our opinion, does not contribute to an understanding of our "message" or the use of the web site.
Thus, the only effects we use at the moment are a few animated GIFs.
The web site is constructed without frames, which means that the navigation bar as well as all text, images etc. move either vertical (down/up) or horizontal (right/left) depending on scroll direction.
The advantage is that during printouts everything visible on the screen is also what is printed on paper.
Last, but not least, we have - to preserve the same simple structure in all areas - chosen that all downloads on the web site is in the platform-independent PDF file format. |
